IPSC Club work bee December 9th and Steel Challenge December 5th 2017

December 3, 2017 NewslettersSkills and Drills

The IPSC Club workbee is scheduled for 10am Saturday December 9th 2017. We are still looking for helpers (cordless drills/drivers needed too).

Join us for Steel Challenge every Tuesday evening. We shoot at Abbotsford Fish and Game Club on Range 4 (2nd parking lot) starting at 7-10pm. The range is covered and has infrared heaters, but dress for the weather regardless. Cost is $5 per person. Standard centerfire pistols, rimfire pistols and rifles, and pistol calibre carbines are welcome. Holsters are not required nor is your Black Badge (IPSC). You shoot 5 passes of 5 rounds each, once everyone has shot, we start at the top of the list again and repeat until we are done. Both members and non-members are welcome!

For the first steel shoot of December will be be shooting Showdown. It is slightly different than most steel challenge in that there is two shooting positions and you will shoot 3 strings from one and 2 strings from the other.

It’s almost as fast to shoot as smoke and hope, but a little farther shots on the big plates. Here is some great runs of it,
